Air Fryer Paneer Fries

Spicy, Savory and Garlicy Fry Alternative

Air fryer paneer fries are a healthier version of the traditional deep-fried paneer fries, which are a popular Indian appetizer. This is a healthier version of regular fries and is a snack that is crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. Paneer fries can be enjoyed on their own or as a side dish.

INGREDIENTS: 
  • 2 Packages Paneer
  • 1tsbp Avocado Oil
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Cup Plain Yogurt
  • 1/2 Cup Cilantro chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • S&P
  • 2-3 TBSP Droosh Spices- We love the Tikka Masala and The Icon with this recipe

 

DIRECTIONS: 

  • Slice paneer into uniform strips and season with 2tsbp Droosh spice, avocado oil, 1tbsp garlic powder and salt and pepper; mix well
  • Spray avocado oil in air fryer and air fry paneer for 10-14 minutes (air fryer times vary)
  • While paneer is cooking, make the dipping sauce by mixing 1 cup plain yogurt in a bowl with juice of 1/2 lemon, cilantro, minced garlic and as much garlic powder as you like and s&p 
  • Take paneer out of air fryer and garnish with cilantro and the juice of 1/2 lemon and enjoy
  • These are great dipped in green chutney as well
