FAQs

How long does shipping take?

  • We offer economy (5-8 business days) and express (1-2 business days) shipping.
  • Once your package leaves our fulfillment center, transit time will vary depending on your location. We’ll send you tracking information as soon as your order has shipped.
  • Note that we, as well as many small businesses, are experiencing supply chain shortages with our distribution partners. We do our best to update the status of our inventory in real time, so that you know if an item is on pre-order ahead of purchase.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet! Right now, we only ship within the United States, but we hope for Droosh to go global eventually. If you are out of the USA and want a taste of Droosh, DM us or email at wholesale@shopdroosh.com

Do you accept returns?

Unfortunately we don't currently offer returns or exchanges due to the nature of our products. If there is an issue with your order please reach out at orders@shopdroosh.com

I placed my order but made a mistake, how can I fix it?

I’m a stockist / buyer who wants to carry Droosh! Who do I contact?

We’d love to discuss. Reach out to wholesale@shopdroosh.com or check out Droosh on Faire here!

What is the best way to store Droosh spices?

Store them in the Droosh airtight container in a dark, dry place, in other words, do not store in direct sunlight, as this will shorten their shelf life. Basically, keep them in your pantry or a cabinet/drawer!

When do the spices expire / how long do they last?

Spices don’t really go bad and our blends are good for about 2 years, however they will lose flavor and aromas over time, so use them while they’re at their best!

My order is missing an item / I received the wrong item!

Send us an email at orders@shopdroosh.com and we’ll make sure you get the right item sent to you.

What are some of your favorite fusion dishes to use Droosh in?

We love adding Droosh to non-Indian food! Some of our favorite ways to use Droosh include: pizzas, salad dressings, grain bowls, eggs, chips, dips, fruit, pasta/noodles, tacos, salmon, the list goes on. If you need help with recipes check out our recipes page or DM us at @shopdroosh.com

Who is Maa?

Maa is Savi, Sabrina and Serena’s grandmother and the inspiration behind Droosh! Maa taught us how to cook Indian food and shared her secret spice blends to ensure her iconic recipes will live on forever.

Why can't Savi cook?

Savi hates spending lots of time cooking a meal just for it to end up tasting bad. She never has the patience and it’s so much easier just to order takeout. Plus there’s no mess!

However, she says: “I’ve never had a bad meal with Droosh and cooking has never been easier, or faster.”

Who is the tallest of the cousins?

Sabrina! Sabrina is 5’3 while Serena is 5’1 and Savi is 5’0. Short girlies, just like their Maa!

What do you mean you’re Indian, but also American?

We mean exactly that! We’re 100% Indian but we’re also American. We all grew up very American, raised by parents who didn’t force Indian culture upon us, were surrounded by many non-Indians at school, and because of this we often struggled with staying confident and maintaining our Indian identity during our youth.

As we got older, we started to embrace our culture more. By remembering all that we learned from Maa’s kitchen, we started to feel more confident, which made us want to find a way to dispel the misconceptions people have of Indian food and culture. We launched Droosh to show how Indian ingredients can also be used in non-Indian dishes. Everyone can use and love Droosh, not just Indians. We love our Indian and American identities and found a way to enjoy both at the same time!
