Grilled Chicken & Veggie Kebabs

Grilled Chicken and Veggie Kebabs

Grab your favorite meat or tofu and veggies, throw some Droosh on it, place them on a skewer and slap them on the grill!! Too easy and too delicious.

  • Meat of choice (chicken or steak)
  • Veggies of choice (we used onion, bell pepper, broccoli and zucchini)
  • 3 Limes
  • 3 cloves Garlic for meat marinade
  • 3 tbsp The Icon Spice for meat marinade
  • 1 cup plain yogurt for meat marinade
  • 2-3 tbsp Everyday Spice for veggies
  • Salt and Pepper to your liking
  • Skewer sticks, soaked in water for at least 20 minutes

Make the meat marinade:

  • Add cubed meat (we LOVE the premade chicken skewers from Costco that come with the chicken cooked and already on the skewer stick that are ready to be thrown on the grill) to a bowl
  • Mix in 2-3 tbsp Icon Spice, juice of 1 lime, salt and pepper to taste, 2-3 garlic cloves grated and 1 cup of plain yogurt; stir until chicken is combined
  • Cover bowl with lid or saran wrap and place in the fridge and let marinade for as long as possible, up to 24 hours

Prep your veggie skewers:

  • Soak skewer sticks in water for at least 20 minutes
  • Slice / chop veggies accordingly and put in a bowl with 1-2 tbsp Everyday spice and the juice of 1/2 lime
  • Place veggies gently onto the skewer sticks alternating each type of veggie on the sticks
  • The broccoli will be placed in foil with oil and placed on the grill not on the skewer sticks
Now it's time to grill:
  • Get the grill hot and place the skewers directly on the grill on medium flame and close the grill lid; let cook for 5 minutes then flip and cook for another 5 until nicely charred
  • Place broccoli wrapped in foul in the grill as well and let cook for 10-12 minutes
  • Veggies will take a little longer to cook so that's normal if meat is cooked faster than the veggies

  • Enjoy with cucumber salad, your favorite sauces and any carb you like!
