Chickpea Salad Wraps

Delicious and Flavorful Chickpea Avocado Wraps

Savor the simplicity and freshness of our Smashed Chickpea and Avocado Wraps. Mashed chickpeas, the Everyday spice and creamy avocado come together in a delightful combination, complemented by crisp celery, herby dill and zesty red onion- all wrapped up in a soft tortilla. This is also perfect on it's own, in a salad, bowl or sandwich!

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinse and drain
  • 1/2 lemon 
  • 2tbsp dill chopped 
  • 1/2 avocado 
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk green onion, sliced
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil 
  • Salt and Freshly ground black pepper 
  • Lettuce for the wrap
  • Tortilla wrap of choice 
  • 3 tsp Everyday Spice

 

DIRECTIONS:

  • Add rinsed chickpeas to a bowl with chopped red onion, celery, green onion and dill 
  • Add salt and pepper to your liking and mix
  • Pour in 2-3 tsp Everyday spice or however much you like 
  • Add olive oil and stir so everything is coated
  • Add in the avocado and mash all ingredients together
  • Squeeze juice of 1/2 lemon 
  • Stir and taste test, adjust seasonings as you like 
  • Spread on a tortilla wrap with lettuce and enjoy
