Creamy Chaat Spinach and Corn

Similar to a classic creamed spinach, this is a tasty and nutritious version that combines spinach and sweet corn with the tangy and spicy flavors of Chaat Party. The dish is seasoned with the Chaat Party spice blend and garnished with fresh herbs like cilantro and lime juice. It's flavorful and colorful and a lovely way to incorporate more vegetables into your diet while enjoying a delicious and satisfying snack or side dish.





  • 1 Whole Pack of Baby Spinach or 2 Fresh Bunches
  • 2 Cups Frozen or Fresh Corn
  • 2 inches Freshly Grated Ginger
  • 1 Serrano Pepper
  • 1 cup Cilantro
  • 2 Lemons
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1tbsp Avocado oil or Ghee
  • S&P
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3 tbsp Chaat Party Spice Mix



  • Soak spinach in cold water and then drain and add to a blender with cilantro, ginger, serrano pepper, juice of 1 lemon and salt and pepper to taste and blend until mixture becomes a paste
  • In a pot over medium heat, add 1tbsp ghee or oil and add 1tsp cumin seeds
  • Once the cumin seeds start to crackle add frozen corn and bay leaf and cover for 1 minute
  • Mix in 1-2 tbsp Chaat Party Mix and stir, let corn cook for 5 minutes
  • Pour in spinach puree and combine in the pot with corn 
  • Add 1/4 cup of heavy cream and stir
  • Garnish with more S&P to taste, juice of 1/2 a lemon and cilantro


  • Garnish with red chili powder and diced jalapeños or serrano peppers if you like extra spice
