Droosh Roast Chicken

Simple Roasted Chicken

This recipe is as simple as it gets and perfect for the holiday season. Spice up you roast chicken with Droosh and impress your friends, family and even yourself with this delicious, flavorful and unique entree. 



  • 1 whole chicken (about 3-4 pounds)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4-5 tablespoon The Icon or Tikka Masala Spice
  • 1 lemon (optional, for extra flavor)



  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F

  • Rinse the chicken inside and out under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels

  • Place the chicken in a roasting pan or a baking dish

  • Rub the olive oil all over the chicken, ensuring it's evenly coated

  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, and The Icon or Tikka Masala spice

  • If using, cut the lemon in half and place it inside the cavity of the chicken. This adds extra flavor

  • Place the roasting pan in the preheated oven

  • Roast the chicken for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the thigh, basting with the drippings occasionally 

  • Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.

  • Serve with your favorite side dishes like masala green beans and chaat spinach and corn
