Savory Green Beans
These masala green beans are cooked with the aromatic spices from the Everyday spice blend in this super easy recipe. It's a delicious side dish with a perfect blend of crunch and flavor. It'll warm you up and keep you full!

INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Cups Green Beans chopped (we prefer fresh but frozen
- works too)
- 1tbsp avocado or olive oil
- 1/4tsp cumin seeds
- 1-2 green chilis diced
- ½ lemon
- 1inch ginger diced
- 2 tbsp Everyday Spice
- ½ cup roasted and chopped peanuts (can sub with sliced almonds)
DIRECTIONS:
- In a bowl add 1tbsp Everyday spice and water to make a paste
- Heat a pan on low heat with oil
- Once hot, saute the cumin seeds for 2 minutes, stirring
- Once cumin seeds begin to crackle add the Everyday Mix paste, ginger, green chilis if using, and salt to taste
- Add chopped green beans and stir
- Cover on low heat, cook for 5 minutes, add water if it’s getting dry
- Sprinkle another tbsp of everyday spice and stir until green beans are cooked
- Add peanuts or almonds and the juice of half a lemon and enjoy
